I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in February 2014. Through this fantastic and life-changing training, I became a Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I am also Board Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). While studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), I also deepened my knowledge in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a.k.a. Tapping. While I apply the principles I learnt at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), I also continue to deepen my knowledge in the field of hormones and women’s health. For that reason, I registered in 2014 to several courses, which are a great addition to the knowledge I acquired until now to fully address the needs of women’s health coaching.
In 2014, I trained with Dr. Sara Gottfried, author of ‘The Hormone Cure’, in her approach to hormonal balance, as well as Jessica Drummond, founder and teacher at the Integrative Women’s Health Institute (f.k.a. the Integrative Pelvic Health Institute). Even if what I learnt so far helped me considerably with managing my endometriosis, I want to keep on learning more to help the women working with me reach their healthiest selves even faster than I did.
My personal recommendations:
The Integrative Women’s Health Institute
As a practitioner, I can highly recommend fellow practitioners to take this course from Jessica Drummond: Evidence-Based Nutrition and Lifestyle Solutions for Women with Pelvic and Sexual Pain. Jessica is an amazing teacher and you can be sure that she put hours of studies and personal time in developing this course. It is offered by the Integrative Women’s Health Institute.
The above program is the one I took, and here are the two programs that the Integrative Women’s Health Institute is currently offering:
- The Women’s Health Coach Certification (Non-accredited WHC program)
- The Women’s Health Coach Certification + NCCHWC (Accredited WHC Program)
The Health Sciences Academy
I enrolled in different programs offered by The Health Sciences Academy in 2015-2016, which I highly recommend for any professional who wants a science-based approach to their health practices:
- Detox Specialist
- Nutritional Therapist
- Advanced Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner
- Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor
If you decide to enrol in any of their courses, I’ve negotiated for you a special discount to use that will get you a discount on your course. Use discount code: LOTUSPOWER.
